Description
Babalwa Latsha hails from Mount Frere in the Eastern Cape, South Africa. She has, however spent a large part of her life in Cape Town, Khayelitsha where she currently resides. Babalwa is a dual international rugby player, having represented her country in both rugby 15’s and rugby sevens. She participated in the women’s’ World Cup sevens held in San Francisco. Also, Babalwa has captained the Springbok Women to qualify for the World Cup in 2021 to be held in New Zealand. Furthermore, Babalwa has lead the Western Province Women’s Senior team for three consecutive seasons resulting in her team retaining the Inter-Provincial Championship title for those consecutive seasons.
