VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE OR LEADERSHIP
I have been organizing tours, youth development sessions, working as a local
community rugby coach, and working with top clubs like Bristol rugby to
further both my coaching experience and share my knowledge to young up
and coming players
PLAYING PROFILE
I would describe myself as a very active player with a great understanding of the
game. I am very fit and agile, and like to carry the ball. I am very strong in defense
(There are no easy yards past me). I am especially strong on the floor priding myself
on turnovers or slowing down ball while also being very disciplined.
I am an extremely good scrummager, with a proven record of stealing possession
against the head. I am extremely technical: in the set-up, winning the hit, and the
drive. Without a doubt the best scrummaging pack this year turning all oppositions
in the Spanish Premiership and rated as the best scrummaging hooker in the league,
hence being called up to the Spanish XV
I am an excellent line out thrower. I would call myself a lineout specialist. I study
lineouts from all across the globe, as well as creating both attacking and defensive
platforms of my own. I understand the importance of regaining and stealing position
at every set piece. I ensure through my training and preparations that this is as
certain as possible. My typical personal training week will involve 2×45 min personal
complex throwing sessions. One opposition set piece analysis session and a
forward meeting to follow. Although separate, its focus is bringing something more
to normal trainings.
In attacking platforms, I am aware of my job and the dynamics of the situations at
all times. I am extremely effective and strong in the maul. A main strength is looking
after the ball from the back. Composed and collective, never failing to gain
advantage or points. In defense I threaten any attack instantly and directly, adapting
to the circumstances to cause an immediate halt to their proceedings.
In open play I perform my job, when at the same time being aware of opportunities
around me. I run strong and direct with ball in hand over the game line. I look to
work with the back line to hit lines infield given the opportunity. I am continually
looking to be effective and a threat (support, dummy lines, ball carries, etc.).
I add to a team both with my experiences and with my Leadership qualities. I am
also a Winner with a proven track record of winning Competitions/ Cups. I adapt
and excel in every environment to ensure that I win everything possible. I am a
particularly hard worker at trainings. I thoroughly believe that you don’t bring out
a performance. You perform as you are as a person. Your game day performance
is a reflection of your training effects. “I live my performance so that it becomes a
part of who I am.” 99 percent is just not good enough.
Thanks,
